Are you even human? Zoom will now check if there are “AI people” sitting in meetings |
Zoom is planning to use eye-scanning tech to make sure that people attending a video meeting are human, and not an AI-powered impersonator. The company will use a World ID, which is created after you scan your eyeball in an orb–shaped device. The device is made by a company named Tools For Humanity, which was co-founded and chaired by Sam Altman, the chief of ChatGPT-maker OpenAI. With a World ID, you can prove your “real” identity in Zoom meetings. The orb idea, however, has been pretty controversial since its buzzy launch years ago. A "World ID" with Sam Altman and his buddy, Trump!?
